Southern Swagger, a group of two music addicts ( Rhett B & Spinzo) with a shared hunger for beats and different musical roots helped them come together to bring you an energetic Mash-Up of crispy drum tracks along with chunky bass-lines.

As a 10 year vet in the Calgary Dj scene Rhett B adds his wisdom for wamps and club music to the mixer. Spinzo the 9 year self-taught master of the steel wheels will then butter the track with some tasty vocals or some nice clean skratches, always giving the dance floor a nice thick rub down. Southern Swaggers sound pulls from Electro, Breaks, D&B, Glitch, Dub, Funk, Hip-Hop, Reggae and Anything In Between. This duo has a obvious sense of working around the music, always ambitious and looking at the picture getting bigger all the time. Southern Swagger does impressive studio work in production and mash-up arts with some of their tunes getting radio play, featured on mix-tapes with world wide recognition and even getting support from Beats, Bass and Breaks heavyweights like Nick Thayer, Freq Nasty, Ill Gates, Krafty Kuts and more than a few handfuls of top billed Canadian dj's.

As a group and as individuals these men have been killin' it all over Western Canada during the past decade. Playing radio shows, club parties and many high profile events, some being the largest music festivals around including Motion Notion, Astral Harvest, and Subculture with their sets / live performances being reviewed as EPIC and Festival Favorites. Their hard work in the studio and rave-outs on stage have people saying " these guys are often imitated but never duplicated". Southern Swaggers mix of club drums, street vocals and outlandish synth bass have been a big hit for some time now. Which has also landed them slots to warm up stages directly before some of music's hottest acts like NAPT, Parker, Atomic Hooligan, The Autobots, The Breakfastaz, Skool Of Thought, Boogie Army & Smash Hi-Fi's Marten Horger, Eprom, and The Freestylers to name a few. To Southern Swagger it doesn't matter if they are performing before one of their favorite Djs or rippin' it up during a headlining set, they always push the riddims as far as they can ever since the first day they put the needle to the groove.
